Where is our institutional memory? Does anyone remember how the clintons got away with whitewater? In particular, does anyone remember or care that it is because they got away with pulling strings to keep Madison Guaranty Savings and Loan afloat after it was insolvent which cost the taxpayers some 60 million, that we have this kind of thing today? Fiske, Starr and congress let them get away with contributing to the savings and loan debacle and now we have this.

HELLOOO. You are correct. What we now have is nothing more than Madison Guaranty on a Grand Scale. And why WOULDN'T they have tried it again. Hell it worked so well the first time around. Madison was nothing more than a learning ground for them. I don't know who I despise more, the clintons, their entire administration, or the republicans who let them get away with it.
