ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. -- A Seminole County, Fla., man who created a giant statue of buttocks to protest county government took the statue to court Thursday for a hearing concerning foreclosure on his junk-filled property.
Neighbors have complained about Alan Davis, 46, and the piles of junk and rats in his yard for more than 10 years, according to Local 6 News.
Recently, Davis was arrested after he created the sculpture of a bare torso and placed it in the front yard of his home on Alpine Street in Altamonte Springs. A neighbor called 911 to complain that the statue was obscene, and Davis was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting an officer.
Despite being charged with more than $300,000 in fines, Davis has refused to clean up the junk or remove the statue.
Davis put the statue on the back of his pickup truck Thursday to continue his protest of Seminole County government and face the county's attempt to foreclose on Davis' property.
A judge threw out the county's foreclosure request after Davis argued that the Code Enforcement Board never provided a list of his violations.
"The county is going to start following the law either voluntarily or by force," Davis said. "And after today, it'll be by force because the court will rule. I'm confident I can go all the way to the Supreme Court. It's not a problem with me."
Davis will continued to be fined for daily, according to Local 6 News.

Not your usual front lawn garbage - and the statue going up and down the road!
He seems to be doing everything in his power to provoke his neighbors, so he can act on his stated intention to shoot any of them who confront him.
He's a weirdo, though I must admit his statue is pretty funny.
Ah! The American Spirit of Independence lives!!
"Calm down ma'am and speak slowly. You say there's a giant butt in your neighbor's yard. Is the butt threatening you in any way, ma'am?"
Gotta wipe that with something.....
...with a picture of BillyJeff Clintigula sitting next to her.
We kids had a lot of fun knowing there was at least one odd-ball in the neiborhood.... (sigh).
Unbelievable.
I don't know, I think I'm on this guy's side. If I had at least one idiot neighbor, I think I would have fun just pissing them off.
Then again, I always try to be a good neighbor as well.
