"illegal immigration is a destructive factor in terms of the cultural component."So is legal immagration these days. Instead of immigrants assimilating American culture we are expected to assimilate their culture. The irony here is the fact that these immigrants come here to seek a better life. If the culture in "The Old Country" was so great, why did they come here in the first place?

Blackbart, you are exactly right. I've stated on several threads that the multiculturalism being taught is literally destroying this country. Furthermore, I do think that there is a phenomena that effects human beings of which they want to live around and socialize with individuals who look, think, and act like them. Furthermore, given housing patterns, resistance to assimilate, bilingualism, etc., I don't think that current immigration patterns will work out in the best interests for America. It's like a big train wreck, of which people see coming, but political correctness has blinded them into saying, "Everything is fine and dandy. I don't see any "trainwreck" up ahead. You must be ignorant (racist) for thinking so".
