I was tempted to say something to the effect of "The real embarrasment to conservatives is people like yourself who only consider it a "movement" and fire off attacks at the most prominent, visible, and vocal people in the "movement" by calling them an embarassment.
But then I thought about how inconsequential your opinion really is and how Ann Coulter would dismiss you and your opinion as being completely irrelevent.
Let me think now, hmmmmm, I believe it stands for National People's Radio, something like that. It's the federally funded broadcast arm of the DNC.
Well, 566 is hardly indicative of genius. But then, there are people who view anything less than 800 as none-too-bright. But none of them ever got nominated for POTUS, either . . .Ann's point is that liberals routinely credit Democratic presidential nominees with high intelligence--and just as routinely judge the current Republican nominee (or incumbent, for that matter) to be even dumber than previous Republican nominees. According to the logic of which, GW shouldn't be smart enough--by their lights--to drag his knuckes on the ground.
LOL! There was an article posted on FR the other day, by a Ann-hating columnist, taking her to task over her mention of the NYT coverage of the death of Dale Earnhardt. Out of that entire book, the only "smoking gun" he had was Ann, supposedly, getting wrong the amount of the NYT's covereage of the death.
My role model! I want to be Ann when I grow up.

Slander: Liberal Lies About the American Right
by Ann Coulter
Preview Program Read the New York Times Review
The immutable fact of politics in America is this: liberals hate conservatives...
AMEN...AMEN....AMEN

Without people like NewYorkTimesBestseller Ann, "conservative" and "movement" would be oxymoronic. Or maybe that should be epoxy-colonic ...not movin' anywhere anytime soon.
No, the trouble with conservatism isn't with the Ann Coulters, she's an absolute gem. The trouble is with all the "movements" discarded by the left and banished to the rightwing.
Half the people who think they're conservative actually aren't, they just think they are 'cause the leftwing establishment told them so to make them go away.
"Libertarians" come immediately to mind. Followed closely by those other olde lefties, the national SOCIALISTS.
It should be put to rest alongside the liberal Second Millenium-favorite "Nazis."
I almost never do that, but I was overcome.I think very highly of Slander, but it stops one step short. That step is to identify the fact that entertainment is superficial, and entertainers who engage in politics as entertainment are demagogues. And that journalists are entertainers or they are commercial failures.
Liberalism is simply following the path of least resistance created by the demagogic imperatives of entertainment; a journalist may claim to be independent of liberal politics, but liberal politicians can and do moot that claim by refusing to be independent of the journalistic herd. And the journalistic herd is coherent because flame wars among journalists are counter to the interests of all journalists--they would subvert the ideology of "objectivity."
Embarrassment is the wrong word here. I'll grant you she falls short in a few areas; she's too easily clouded by emotion at times and often prefers spitting out one liners to properly laying out her arguement. But when she's not patting herself on the back for her own wit, she's a brilliant debater who tears through any half-assed liberal propaganda like a hot knife through butter.
She is confrontational and too arrogant to assist the cause.
Got news for you: shy, humble sissies ain't much good either.
