Anyone who dubs Katie Couric the "affable Eva Braun of morning television," as Ann Coulter does in "Slander: Liberal Lies About the American Right," can

Somebody ought to publish Ann's Little White Book to do for conservatives what Mao's famous pamphlet did for the ChiCom Red Guards. Now its time to storm the barricades!!!
To: JeanS
Ann is an embarassment to the conservative movement. She is confrontational and too arrogant to assist the cause. Her vernacular and tone does little to elevate her op/eds. Instead, it becomes the Jerry Springer of the conservative movement.
I'd rather see less of Ann and more of Sean Hannity, Hugh Hewitt, or Fred Barnes.

"would you join with Democrats who are calling for a federal program to subsidize liberals so they can compete fairly with conservatives in the new media, namely radio and TV talk shows and Internet opinion sites? You have got to be kidding me.
To: bonesmccoy
You consider her an embarrassment because she's opinionated and frank. Too many conservatives spend their lives trying to please liberals. Ann doesn't give a damn what they think so she let's it rip. I only wish we had more bomb throwers and fewer people who felt they have to censor themselves so the enemy won't feel offended.
GO ANN, GO!!!
To: bonesmccoy
Ann has the "balls" to call like it is. The others are afraid. Do you complain when liberals attack us?

If liberals are so popular why do they need to have a government subsidy to compete with conservatives? Only a liberal could feel disadvantaged in the free market of ideas. Ann's right; there's no point to responding to a question which is so stupid that answering it would serve to tell people that liberals are incapable of even asking intelligent questions.
To: JeanS
Unlike Katie Couric, Ann Coulter is unabashed about being a political polemicist. LOL. Hope she runs for President someday. Despite the howls of conservatives who prefer namby-pamby candidates, she'd win!

Some ideas need to die on the vine, if their ideas are not popular enough to support themselves, may the death of their ideas be quick, the quicker the better.

Seems there is a growing cottage industry all over the internet devoted to debunking her latest book, footnote by footnote. Site are springing up all over the place.
She certainly does evoke a great amount of interest and strong emotions in people.
If nothing else, it's all quite humorous to read.

To: bonesmccoy
You are kidding, right? Please tell me you are just kidding us. Ann Coulter is PJ O'Rourke with breasts. Sorry Ann! Her incisive disposal of the liberal mantra chanters is poetry in action. She obviously was heavily influenced in her childhood by the fairy tale concerning the naked emperor. When the liberal swine begin howling with pain in unison then you can be sure that the arrow struck a vital target. Thank God for Ann Coulter!

GO ANN, GO!!! You bet! And if you ever find yourself stuck having to watch network news, just keep a copy of "Slander" nearby and refer to it when Brokaw or Blather or Jennings' et al's comments become too annoying.
Ann just tells it like it is and we could do with more like her.

Do you complain when liberals attack us? Too busy saying, "Don't hit me again! Pleease!" I imagine . . .

Seems there is a growing cottage industry all over the internet devoted to debunking her latest book, footnote by footnote. You do realize the stakes, don't you? What if someone walked into the Supreme Court and demanded that broadcast journalism be suppressed as unconstitutional government partisanship? They could plump Slander on the bench and say, "If any one of these charges is unrebutted, the FCC is guilty of malfeasance or nonfeasance in allowing the broadcasting of journalism." And they'd be right! Broadcast journalism gave us Floriduh 2000, and they should be sued into oblivion because of it!
