Ann is an embarassment to the conservative movement. She is confrontational and too arrogant to assist the cause. Her vernacular and tone does little to elevate her op/eds. Instead, it becomes the Jerry Springer of the conservative movement.

I'd rather see less of Ann and more of Sean Hannity, Hugh Hewitt, or Fred Barnes.

You consider her an embarrassment because she's opinionated and frank. Too many conservatives spend their lives trying to please liberals. Ann doesn't give a damn what they think so she let's it rip. I only wish we had more bomb throwers and fewer people who felt they have to censor themselves so the enemy won't feel offended.

GO ANN, GO!!!

Ann has the "balls" to call like it is. The others are afraid. Do you complain when liberals attack us?

Seems there is a growing cottage industry all over the internet devoted to debunking her latest book, footnote by footnote. Site are springing up all over the place.

She certainly does evoke a great amount of interest and strong emotions in people.

If nothing else, it's all quite humorous to read.

You are kidding, right? Please tell me you are just kidding us. Ann Coulter is PJ O'Rourke with breasts. Sorry Ann! Her incisive disposal of the liberal mantra chanters is poetry in action. She obviously was heavily influenced in her childhood by the fairy tale concerning the naked emperor. When the liberal swine begin howling with pain in unison then you can be sure that the arrow struck a vital target. Thank God for Ann Coulter!

Ann is an embarassment to the conservative movement.

I was tempted to say something to the effect of "The real embarrasment to conservatives is people like yourself who only consider it a "movement" and fire off attacks at the most prominent, visible, and vocal people in the "movement" by calling them an embarassment.

But then I thought about how inconsequential your opinion really is and how Ann Coulter would dismiss you and your opinion as being completely irrelevent.

Ann is an embarassment to the conservative movement

Without people like NewYorkTimesBestseller Ann, "conservative" and "movement" would be oxymoronic. Or maybe that should be epoxy-colonic ...not movin' anywhere anytime soon.

No, the trouble with conservatism isn't with the Ann Coulters, she's an absolute gem. The trouble is with all the "movements" discarded by the left and banished to the rightwing.

Half the people who think they're conservative actually aren't, they just think they are 'cause the leftwing establishment told them so to make them go away.

"Libertarians" come immediately to mind. Followed closely by those other olde lefties, the national SOCIALISTS.

Ann is an embarassment to the conservative movement.

Embarrassment is the wrong word here. I'll grant you she falls short in a few areas; she's too easily clouded by emotion at times and often prefers spitting out one liners to properly laying out her arguement. But when she's not patting herself on the back for her own wit, she's a brilliant debater who tears through any half-assed liberal propaganda like a hot knife through butter.

She is confrontational and too arrogant to assist the cause.

Got news for you: shy, humble sissies ain't much good either.

ALL conservative or even conservative-leaning "center right" voices are welcome, IMHO.

Ann's self-described "invective," however, is what lifts her message above the background noise of our over-stimulated media, and gets her ideas heard in the dark corners of liberal propaganda, like the Today Show, Donahue and CNN.

FWIW, her method seems to be somwhat effective, viz:

There is a time and place for humor......I guess you don't get that.

We need meaty people on our side, but sometimes I just want to be able to laugh at the liberal viewpoint, not have someone explain to me in boring prose why it is wrong.

You're kidding, right? An embarrasment? Colter's book is well researched, well documented and well presented. She's not just refuting the liberal's arguments, she's confuting them. That's an embarrasment?

Oh, if you're a liberal, it is an embarrasment!

I think Ann Coulter is great! I am sick of watching debates where the liberal wipes the floor with a mealy-mouthed conservative. We need more conservatives like Ann not less! She is not intimidated by the liberals. Let them call her arrogant. That's because she scares them! She is getting her message through to the public. Go Annie! I love her! She even put the blow-hard Bill O'Reilly in his place.

More of the in-your-face, hard-hitting, attention-getting, truth-telling, activists to shine the light on these roaches in a way that the media can't ignore it.

Ann is only an embarrassment to spineless "conservatives." For any conservative with a backbone she's a hero.

Anne says the things I scream at liberals on TV. She is NOT an embarrassment. I like the fact that she is confrontational and TRUTHFUL.
