Cynthia wimps out again (chickens out on radio appearance)
WSB Radio ^ | 8.12.02 | Michael King/Royal Marshall

Posted on 08/12/2002 6:15:26 PM PDT by mhking

Royal Marshall has tried to schedule Cynthia McKinney on his show (on WSB) for more than eight months. After the debate Friday night, McKinney contacted Royal's folks to come on tonight (Monday).

Late today, McKinney's people contacted Royal's producer and claimed that there was a "scheduling conflict" that prevented her from showing up.

To give some history, WSB is the top rated station in Atlanta, and with a 50KW signal, WSB can be heard in 38 states at night. In addition, WSB's internet stream ranks among the top ten streams on the web.

You would think that Cynthia McKinney would want to talk to the masses.

Royal started his show with chicken clucking, and has been fussing about it the whole time.

You can listen to Royal's show from now until 11P ET on 750 AM if you're east of the Mississippi, or on the web at wsbradio.com.

Have you ever seen her in person? If so, how does she act?

"Maybe Jesse Jackson needed his rims shined."

"Maybe some Palestinians needed to have some money picked up."

"She doesn't need to be afraid of Robin, Batman's not here!" (referring to his Robin with Neal Boortz's Batman)

"She's scared!"

All quotes from Royal within the last ten minutes...

Met her once - she's pretty aloof. She sticks with the "I'm associating with the 'great unwashed.'"

Basically a b*tch....

She is such a loose cannon when talking to the press. I could just imagine how she would be in a situation where she could really let loose.

Well, I'm sure she's afraid of taking phone calls from "the great unwashed" who'll take her to task for being such a moron.

Black conservative ping

If you want on (or off) of my black conservative ping list, please let me know via FREEPmail. (And no, you don't have to be black to be on the list!)

Extra warning: this is a high-volume ping list.

I'm not from GA but I wondered if she showed up for the televised debates last week?

I phoned 52 GOP "Supervoters" today, to ask them to vote for Majette.

I was able to reach 16. 13 of those already were going to vote for Majette, quite enthusiastically. Two were undecided (they were thinking of voting in the GOP primary) and one said he wasn't going to vote, due to poor health.

To me this is a good sign, when over 80% of those you reach already know that they can cross over and vote against McKinney.

Our battle was making sure people KNOW that they can crossover. But, you figure these supervoters are more politically aware than the average voter.

(A "Supervoter" is a voter who has voted in the last 2 primary elections)

She waited until the last minute to show up; then she got an attitude when she was questioned on it.

She's like Hillary - she won't appear anywhere where she can't control the flow, questions, other people or anything else. She showed up at the debate simply because she felt she had some supporters.

Your play-by-play of that debate was great. Will they have a transcript of it anywhere?

[lol] I don't know - GPTV generally doesn't but since C-Span is set to rebroadcast it sometime this week, they may have one after the fact...

Hopefully the real people in Georgia are smarter about who they elect than the fools in New York.

Most of the folks who have called in on Royal's show thus far appear to be more thinking folks. So if they are any indication, Cynthia won't be heading back. But I have to hope that they can counter the morons in south DeKalb.

An appointment with her shrink no doubt.

Did you see the thread earlier today where Catspaw found incontrovertible proof on McKinney's own Web site that she spoke at the Death to Israel "peace" hatefest on the Mall in D.C. on April 20th?

I have been emailing all over Atlanta telling people the same thing and asking them to call/email friends in her district. I'm in Forsyth so I can't vote against her. Wish I could.

She didn't hide it. It was on the news down here when it happened. More business as usual for the moron from DeKalb County.
