It is easy to imagine trade between the kingdoms in Egypt, Mesopotamia, Pakistan, and China in those days, and possibly with Central America, but Central America, say Cuba, would not have been a trivial port to reach even for an Egyptian in those days.

"According to the Tom Clancy movies we have detailed 3d sonar maps for our sub's. I wonder what this data shows and any other possible site's."

I don't think we have the oceans mapped as well as we are lead to believe.

February 16 - Science Update: Ocean Floor Map

After a look through a world atlas or a visit to any AAA branch office, you might think that we've mapped, photographed, and classified every inch of the Planet Earth. But actually, almost two-thirds of our planet has been left uncharted -- until now. We'll tell you how a new map has unveiled the secrets hidden of the ocean floor.

It's good to see the NGS doing articles like this. So much of their space these days is wasted on their relentless pushing of evolution to kids.

Thanks for the link Judy. This technology isn't all that new, just a new application. The military used that technology to track submerged submarines. The submarines caused a 'slight' hump on the surface of the ocean that could be detected by those satellites.
