Saudi hates us. Pragmatism keeps them talking to us. Pragmatism will guide them. If the US appears to be winning against Saddam, then Saudi will align with us. If we appear to making no headway, they will be coy. If we are losing, they will side with Iraq.
It's pretty predictable. They are no friend.
