[history]
Asked Sunday by Sam Donaldson of ABC News if he had done anything wrong when he turned a 1997 investment of $100,000 in Global Crossing into an $18 million windfall two years later, Democratic National Committee Chairman Terry McAuliffe defensively asserted, "Well, first of all, you have no idea if I made one penny, Sam." Well, first of all, that isn't what Mr. McAuliffe told the New York Times in December 1999. "For Mr. McAuliffe and all the other early investors, Global Crossing turned out to be a bonanza," Jeff Gerth of the New York Times reported then

Mr. McAuliffe's stonewalling tactics are more than similar to the Daschles not disclosing their finances as required. Its the Democratic Party way dont you know! But just let Vice President Cheney and other ranking Republicans not declare their holdings to the world and there is a huge uproar from the democrats of corruption and innuendo about oil deals...has Algore divested himself of his Occidental stock or even said what he owns?

I don't think I've ever seen as many people going to jail that have associated with the clintons and they're still going.

The media just loves those perp walks. They'd soil their britches if McAuliffe was the next to take that long walk down the sidewalk with his hands behind his back in cuffs. :^)

I think Mr. McAuliffe being indicted will be the litmus test for John Ashcroft and the Justice Department. Is he a real law and order man ruled by principle, or Janet Reno in a man's body. Global Crossing terrorized a lot of investor profolios, while Terry laughed all the way to the bank. If he went to jail, at least he would have a chance to repent. Hopefully John Ashcroft understands these passages in the Bible.
1 Timothy 1
8 But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully;
9 Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,
10 For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;
You know Republicans, God is only going to give you so many golden opportunities to right the wrongs of the lawless and godless Clinton administration. If you squander them, he WILL rip the country away from you and give it to a people who aren't afraid to bring forth righteous justice and judgement. That you can count on.
Matthew 21
43 Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.

Just let me see that thieving McAuliffe take the long walk with his hands cuffed behind his back. Please dear Lord allow it to happen.

Couldn't hapen to a nicer guy. McAuliffe's job discriptios says "Lie, Complain Whine and Comlain some more". If GWB dropped dead tonight, McAuliffe would only say, "Too little, Too late." If this guy is what's called an effective national group leadership this country is in deep dodo.

If this guy is what's called an effective national group leadership this country is in deep dodo.When the Dems aligned themselves with the unions, this was inevitable. There's only one reason to do this, as they saw from the mafia when the mafia overran the unions, and that's to steal from the masses. They are now basically a mafia party. Racketeering, wage garnishnment, money schemes are their forte. The Kennedys (John and Robert) to their credit saw what was happening and tried to do something about it and were hit for it. Since then the mafia has merged into the Democratic Party.

I think you knocked that one right of the ballpark.
McAuliffe uses the same old tactics that has destroyed business after business in this country. The nation should take notice before it is too late.

I lost $2,750 on GX (bought 100 shares at $27.5).
I'd have a nuclear melt-down if Terry Mc. was forced to do the perp walk wearing cuffs made from the metal of the golf clubs he purchased with my $2,750 of ill-gotten gains.

p.s. My Scott tissue paper is more important to me know than the GX stock certificates.
