REPUBLICAN LEADERS CALL FOR CLOSER SCRUTINY OF McGREEVEY SECURITY ADVISORRepublican leaders this week continued to call for closer scrutiny of Governor McGreeveys controversial security advisor, Golan Cipel. The Governors appointment has incited criticism from the media and legislators on both sides of the aisle over Cipels lack of experience in domestic security and McGreeveys failure to subject his appointee to a background check.
Republican members of the Assembly Homeland Security Committee had asked Cipel to testify at their meeting yesterdaya request that was deniedand Senator Bill Gormley called on Cipel to appear before the Senate Judiciary Committee to discuss his qualifications and expertise in the area of homeland security.
Assembly Republican Leader Paul DiGaetano today reiterated Gormleys call for Cipel to appear before the Legislature.
In today's Star Ledger, Cipel is quoted as saying, "I would love to speak, but I can't."
"Let Golan speak," DiGaetano said.
It has been no secret ........ except that the liberal media believes this is PC and thereby not an issue
McGreevey's wife is so disgusted that she has moved to Canada where McGreevey must travel to visit the children
But[t] you will never hear anything about it in the lamestream press, because McGreevey hiring a gay lover to a make-believe State job is off limits because he's a democrap
Hey what can you expect?
