TRENTON -- Golan Cipel, the controversial, highly paid but seldom publicly seen adviser to Gov. McGreevey, has resigned for personal reasons, effective in two weeks, the governor's office said yesterday.

"The governor accepted it with regret," said Paul Aronsohn, communications director for McGreevey. McGreevey was traveling and unavailable for interviews.

Kushner's bank is doing very well. NorCrown had $15 million in assets when he took it over in June of 1996. In less than three years, he increased the banks assets to $200 million.

REPUBLICAN LEADERS CALL FOR CLOSER SCRUTINY OF McGREEVEY SECURITY ADVISOR

Republican leaders this week continued to call for closer scrutiny of Governor McGreevey’s controversial security advisor, Golan Cipel. The Governor’s appointment has incited criticism from the media and legislators on both sides of the aisle over Cipel’s lack of experience in domestic security and McGreevey’s failure to subject his appointee to a background check.

Republican members of the Assembly Homeland Security Committee had asked Cipel to testify at their meeting yesterday—a request that was denied—and Senator Bill Gormley called on Cipel to appear before the Senate Judiciary Committee to discuss his qualifications and expertise in the area of homeland security.

Assembly Republican Leader Paul DiGaetano today reiterated Gormley’s call for Cipel to appear before the Legislature.

In today's Star Ledger, Cipel is quoted as saying, "I would love to speak, but I can't."

"Let Golan speak," DiGaetano said.

I hope all are aware that these to boys are Butt Buddies

It has been no secret ........ except that the liberal media believes this is PC and thereby not an issue

McGreevey's wife is so disgusted that she has moved to Canada where McGreevey must travel to visit the children

But[t] you will never hear anything about it in the lamestream press, because McGreevey hiring a gay lover to a make-believe State job is off limits because he's a democrap

Hey what can you expect?

This is the state in which one US Senator bought his seat (Corzine) and the other sold his for trinkets (Torricelli)

Didn't know that. What a cesspool. One more reason not to get off the NJT but drive right through.

just another example of the elite media deciding which news if fit for we stupid peasants

this was a slow train coming and most were aware

the corruption is still being hidden by the victim status

McGreedy was a corrupt mayor of the very corrupt township of Woodbridge ... but as a NJ dem this is just dog bites man and not reported
