Bombing Runs and missle strikes during the day, ground combat and troop deployment/advancment at night. It's downright pleasant in the evening.

Lets see now, we leak every day a new invasion plan. Then we watch what they do. Once we know where all their chem./bio rockets are we????

Another explaination: Due to the continuously rising wealth and quality of life of the Iraqi people, the government had to dramatically increase the production of meat.Keep up the razor sharp analysis and you might get a job at CNN! ;-)

You packed yet?

I am curious--what would happen if we bombed the "meat factory?" Would little cuts of beef be dispersed into the nearby countryside? It would be a good way to prove that perhaps there is more than hamburger being processed there.

The heat issue is bullcrappus! It's the flip side of the dreaded "Afghan winter" we were supposed to worry about last year.
Seems to me that in WWII, the British and Rommel's Afrika Corps didn't suspend operations for the summer months, and fought at places like El Alamein (120 in the shade, anyone?) in July.

done plenty of training (some fighting) in the sand...as well as in the cold...soldiers can adapt, but some of our equipment doesn't hold up as well in the heat as in the cold...

The rhetoric is baiting Sadaam into action (which, I think, is the purpose). Sadaam doesn't want to go without getting his shots in, which means he may be baited into solving the little PR roadblock set up by the leftists. We're just waiting for him to take one aggressive action...

"The heat issue is bullcrappus!" Just like "the brutal Afghan winter"...

I was just thinking the same thing and remembering how the media were going on that we couldn't invade Afghanistan until spring. October surprise! LOL

And of course there will be no footage of the brave US forces going to battle under the Stars and Stripes -- way too jingoistic for little Petey....(hmmm, wonder if the term "little petey" has a two-fold meaning in this case?)
