This is just a lame attempt at a second "Pentagon Papers" by the NY Slimes. It's long been common knowledge that we supported Iraq in the Iran-Iraq war and that we supplied them with intelligence (There was even a battle in early 1986-the height of Iran-Contra-when both sides, Iran and Iraq, were proceeding based on intelligence supplied by the US!). This story is just a dramatic retelling of already known events (and more obvious bias on the part of the Times).
