The highway has been renamed "George W. Bush Parkway" through Waco, Woodway and McGregor by overwhelming consensus of the city governments.
Do you have to throw a few coins every so often as you negoiate the Pkwy? I have traveled the "George H. W. Bush Parkway" in Dallas and you need to have a few coins at the ready... Maybe Parkway traveling in the country is a little less expensive.....

Absolutely LOVED the article -- thank you!
Just wanted to let you (and the readers of this thread) know that you can purchase David's new book, "How to Beat the Democrats" for 50% of the retail price. How? Simply visit his website,
http://www.frontpagemag.com, and locate the advertisement located near the bottom of the right sidebar. I purchased the book last evening and as an added bonus got to select a free book from among several excellent titles!

Those of us who have been privileged to observe George Bush up close -- even as briefly as I have on a few occasions in the past -- know that he is a serious and intelligent man. I am fortunate in that I've met Bush and have spoken to him several times on the phone. One on one, he may be the best politician alive. He has the ability to convince you that his position is correct, and that you shared it all along.

Do you have to throw a few coins every so often as you negoiate the Pkwy? No toll roads down this way, thank goodness! I travel to the far northern Dallas suburbs to visit family quite often and am worn out from throwing quarters into the hoppers for the Dallas North Tollway from the south end to the north end. Haven't traveled the George H.W. Bush Parkway yet. How many quarters should I bring?

Also important to keep in mind is that Al Gore, couldn't find a voice to help his country for eight months after 9/11. He was too busy deciding who he was and when to shaveVery good

Thanks..... When I read this article late last night I remembered seeing that photo at some point over the weekend and thinking the same thing. I'm surprised but pleased the photo was still accessible today. :)

Wow. That has been my impression of him, too, albeit from afar. I'm so glad to have it confirmed from someone who has first hand experience with him. Thank you.
BTW, I'm mighty jealous :)

In the end, one's sense of him is that he will make his decision according to what he believes is right, which is the real source of most Americans' confidence in his leadership.Amen! A rare quality in politics!
The more people see and get to know George W. Bush, the more respect they'll have for him. The Dems are cooked!
Thanks for the ping, Darlin'!

So what I said to him was this: "Your heart is where America is. Trust it and you'll be right." Which he knows anyway, and which is why we have trusted him with our fates. Thanks for the ping Darlin'
