[history]
Western property-rights defenders are coming to the aid of thousands of Floridians who say their land is being flooded by the federal government to protect an endangered species in the Everglades.
Homeowners say the constant flooding is an effort to force them to sell their homes, and some scientists are questioning whether the rare Cape Sable seaside sparrow is being helped.

This would be a good issue fer Guv'nah Jeb to sink his teeth into, IMHO...MUD
To: Mudboy Slim
Not really. Jeb's getting a lot of campaign money from the developers who will benefit from this project. He won't say diddly except to say he hugs trees too and wants to protect the Glades. This is a private property issue, black and white, pure and simple. And if anyone thinks otherwise, I would suggest getting a .22 and getting rid of any wildlife in your back yard, before the come for your home.

"The Corps of Engineers has also taken steps toward condemning 100 houses overlooking the flooded land, because federal authorities say Everglades National Park needs that land as a buffer zone."
These buffer zones in and of themselves are destroying families all across the country.....and this statement alone shows the part of Agenda 21 that this really is all about!
To: countrydummy
Yup, and those suburbans that support this so they can fill their swimming pools (or so they think since they *believe* it's about water) will learn the hard way when *their* property is condemned to make way for 'dense urban housing units' once the rural peasants have been cleansed.

I just got off a call with WINK/WNOG, they had Jay Walley head of Paragon on. He got an over an hour so far to tell the story, and the founder of
our organization was just on. Now the treasurer is on.
This guy is great. Excitement is really building in this area and everywhere else. All sorts of local and national media are hyping this, we're up to 4 caravans now.

"buffer zone"
Translation for all you non-Floridians:
There is some prime real estate the farmers and current residents wouldn't sell under the price it's worth. So the developers have indirectly bribed the government to condemn the property so they can buy it for pennies on the dollar.
This is not just envirocommunism. It is the era of a new elite in America. And that elite, the same type of people that rule the Enrons and Global Crossings of the world, have realized that real estate is the future. Now that they have destroyed everyone's retirement funds by pirating billions out of the market, they want to come for your homes next. And this time they are using the barrel of a gun and the purchase of politicians to do it. Meet the new robber baron's of the 21st century. God help us all.

I'm probably coming down there. I get ill every time a new item appears in the news. It's almost always one sided and portrays the home owners and farmers as anti-environmentalists and the government as just trying to preserve the earth. It's enough to make you barf.

I just added a link to the mass email I am composing, and when it's sent out ( tonite or early AM ) I'll copy it over as an update of DUBOB 9.
( Those stories the media just doesn't like to talk about, for fear you will ask rude questions... )

AAABEST, WINK/WNOG is not interested in private property rights...they are interested in one thing only...defeating Jeb Bush. Why is the Paragon Foundation waiting until just before an election to push this? Publicity or politics? Sorry, but the timing is suspect.
We've been fighting slanderous attacks on Jeb Bush from the Florida papers for months now...the left wants Jeb destroyed so badly the leftists in the BBC even print their crap overseas. Destroy Jeb, hurt GW, stop George P. They are rabid and nasty.
If the Paragon Foundation and the Sawgrass Rebellion is serious about the issue, they'd wait until after the Nov. elections. Of course, go after Jeb now and you will get maybe even international publicity from the Clymers. You think Jeb's bad....wait 'til you see how the candidate Florida's mainstream media supports would treat private property rights. Want to stop Florida's enviral-nazis? We have decades of Chiles-Ren0-Disney-Hiassen BS to dispel. Going after Jeb now is someone's gameplan to attack Jeb. McBride or Reno? You are doing there PR work.

Thanks for the Ping. I hope to have a clear schedule so I can make the oct 17 rally in FL. Keep up the good work.
