When the US invaded Afganistan we were treated to many images of US troops with stacks of captured Taliban and al-Queda arms and ammunition.
I noted that the ammo crates and cans were marked with chinese characters.
The PRC arms the terrorists and enjoys MFN trading status.
Nineteen of twenty hijackers were Saudis and Saudi Arabia is still an ally.
Bush declares war on Iraq (without inconveniencing Congress with the chore). Iraq apparently had no part in the September attacks.
Go figure.

In addition to the (Russia)>PRC>Pakistan (ISI)>Rabbani channel, there are other ones at work in Asia that we ought to become more cognizant of. For example, in Myanmar, the PRC, Pakistan and Russia are involved in various facets of building that nation's military capabilities. Further east, the PRC have duped Thai businessmen into partnering on the construction of a superhighway from Kunming PRC, through Myanmar and into Thailand, perfect for TELs and tanks going full speed. Oh, and did I mention the navy bases being built within a few miles of the Andaman Islands (Indian ELINT). At the same time, the PRC are working with the Pak Navy at the port of Gwadhar (one of the furthest SW points in Pakistan and spitting distance from the Strait of Hormuz) to build a new base. In the meanwhile, the PRC slowly encroach upon a southern trending string of islands, islets and reefs in the South China Sea, clearly aiming for the Strait of Malacca (see also comments about the superhighway, TELs and tanks above). Pattern?
