HOW much harm does the litigation explosion cause? Take a look at asbestos.
Once considered a "miracle fiber" for its fire resistance and ability to be woven into cloth-like materials, asbestos saved countless lives during the 20th century. But in the 1960s, it was discovered that inhaling asbestos fibers caused lung damage and mesothelioma, a particularly deadly lung cancer. World War II shipyard workers, who had blown asbestos dust into ship holds during accelerated wartime production, were particularly susceptible.

The Senate is and has been holding up tort reform. Clinton blocked it during his 8 years. We now have a non-lawyer President. We must get the Senate back.

Lawyers are consuming this country and its assets. They are a fraternity that controls the system from every angle.
They are setting it up so you have to retain them or be consumed.I dont know who I trust the least, lawyers or government.America is not as free as some think. The average citizen is caught in a vice and is forever being squeezed to death.America really needs a revolution of sorts and to what extent I dont claim to know but we have serious problems and our leaders are fiddling while she burns. There is a real class war going on and the rich and powerful keep the average American divided and at each others throats while they divide and conquer.

My brother died from asbestosis but he worked with it during the 50's and sawed it with a table saw spreading fibers all over the place and into his lungs. He would come home covered with it. But the for casual contact this is a scam. Part of the Lawyer's Full Employment Act.
The trial lawyers will eventually bring down this Republic. Here in Texas, the insurance companies are about to pack their bags and leave. Homeowner's insurance rates are twice what they are back in Missouri where I used to live, and they won't write new policies.
