Thanks for the comments. I agree. And I might add, while Fox makes all sorts of demands on our nation, I see none from our leadership directed at Fox that seek to move Mexico into the 21st century.

Fox's ham handed tactics have gone unopposed. Why is that? Do we have to sell out our complete set of ideals in order to facilitate some magical, mostly illusionary, relationship?

Personally, I think Bush and Fox have some side deals going.

This amazes me ---our leaders seem to be very afraid to stand up to this man and his foolish demands. All he has to do is make Mexico more liveable for it's citizens but we don't dare tell him that. I also notice that there are a very few Hispanic countries like Costa Rica that have a middle class ----I don't see Fox sending many Mexicans there ---and that would make more sense because they'd already know the language and culture. It's either because his intentions are to take over an Anglo country or Costa Rica has immigration control.
