The last thing we want is democracy in Iraq or any other Arab country. Independence for Arab countries has been a failed experimant. Democracy would make the situation even worse.

It is a sad thing to see that National Review has fallen so far and so fast as to be publishing the frenzied and confused hallucinations of an inmate recently [but prematurely] paroled from a clinic for disassociative Tourettes victims. But just for the moment, what exactly do these heavy left pinheads think they are saying when they deprecate the history of European colonialism in the MidEast and in Africa? In Africa, particularly.
