But it's still Socialism, kiddo, no matter how you spin it.

Nah. Socialism requires taxpayer subsidies.
I'm talking about making the WOD self-sufficient with higher fines.
Maybe we can even make it more efficient by deregulating and privatizing this facet of law enforcement.
Anybody who catches and turns in a druggie and their stash to proper authorities is entitled to all their other assets.
Something like that oughta work!

You will encourage people to plant drugs then you will get a lot of FALSE drug convictions that way.

You're either an idiot or a troll. Which is it? Or was that supposed to be funny?

"Something like that oughta work!"

Something like that is working now.

It's called 'asset forfeiture', and it helps build Socialism in innumerable ways. ;^)

The best thing about it is, hardly any danged furriners get to cash in on it!

That's the best kind of Socialism, I think we can all agree.

The WOD is winding down whether anyone cares to admit it or not.

The pro WOD folks are trying, without much success, to plug the leaks in a sinking ship.

These leaks are occuring in foreign arenas such as Britain, Canada, and Switzerland. And leaks are occuring at home, in areas such as State medical marijuana laws and legalization referenda in AZ and NV.

Personally, I think you all would have a better chance if you went back to the lurid films of the 30's.

At least they had women taking off their clothes and going for a midnight swim in the ocean!

How can you have higher fines than the asset forfeiture laws we already have? I am amazed at fatuaous fools like yourself who think that a private corporation with its hand in the public purse is somehow preferable to an operation run by public employees. Prisons are already privatized - which, believe it or not has not lowered the costs of running a jail.
