I said nothing of the sort. You asked for Scripture indicating that Mary is the Mother of God. I gave it to you. I also gave you the words of the Protestant reformers if that is your religious inclination as it seems. Did you even read any of it?

yes ... John 1:1-5 KJV

John 1
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made.
4 In Him was life; and the life was the light of men.
5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

"'We want to preserve a Christian people in our country,' Yelda explained."

God knows your country needs them, Yelda.

"This movement...has at its final goal not only the murder or the complete subjugation of non-Muslims but all those who do not measure up to its doctrine of terror and hatred."

The "movement", of course, is Islam.

We have seen how much courage Iraq's have when murdering a 70 year old nun, soon we will get to see how brave they are confronting a U.S. Marine. Oh wait, we have already seen how brave they are when they crawled out from beneath their rocks and wrapped their arms around our soldiers legs and lick their boots.

This time our soldiers should look down, say, "Thanks for the shine" then blow their brains out.

you must have not read my replies on this thread at all ... I don't see any questions about the Miraculous Conception here ... and avoided the question ... Did Jesus perpetually exist or was He not created until the "birth"? ... I think you've made your position already clear and we're going to disagree ...

I'm not sure what you mean by this; I know how I understand it. If there is a deeper, more mystical inference here I'd be happy to discuss it in Freepmail. I'd be surprised though, given your beliefs about Mary.

I'll second that motion. It's a good thing for them that there's no extremist (fundamentalist) Christian country with
a nuclear arsenal (YET). Let's create a shrine for all
Christian martyrs next to a glass crater in Mecca.

Hey guys. Let's not go there. This discussion is not about Mary. Start up a separate thread and have at it till 2 AM.

Whatever Catholics believe about Mary is a side issue. Whether you are a sprinkler or a dunker is a side issue. What matters is the belief in Jesus Christ as the way and sole savior. You can have a lot of stuff right or a lot of stuff wrong but as long as the key point is met you are brethren. The associated creeds, rituals, and assorted theology are the details where the devil can obscure unity in important things.

I did read your posts as did everyone else who is on the same page as I am. I'm not talking about the Immaculate Conception, but it sounds like you are talking about something entirely different from what everyone else is perceiving here. Enlighten us please.

This is the kind of thing that sways public opinion. If this story gets proper publication in the mass media, which is to say, TV news, the next war poll will show a large increase in favor of having it out with Iraq. It will also affect debate in Congress. Congress might declare war on Iraq specifically based on this incident alone.

Rome is supported not only by Scripture but also by people like Luther, Calvin, Zwingli, Melanchthon, Bullinger, Drelincourt and Thurian. That's something those who reject the truth almost always fail to mention.

It's really sad to see the hatefilled intolerance of Muslims toward Christians...but I believe the hell they are raising here on earth is simply a preview of the place their false religion is leading them. These are some miserable people.

Let's see them out of their earthly misery, and to the place where they are going.

Wait a minute, why must you assume someone else is wrong, simply because you yourself don't believe it? Whatever happened to having a little respect for others who come from another tradition? Maybe not every Christian looks at the Bible the same way you do!

John 1:14 "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we saw his glory, the glory as it were of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
