I wish Jennings would go home. More blowholes spouting envirowackism, blame the Bush, anti-United States cr#ppola. By the way, Leonardo Dicaprio missed the caviar at the wonderful(sarcasam) Earth Summit, despite whining about Bush not going.

Since Disney took over ABC, I do not believe ABC on anything. They are part of the same Conglomerate which thinks that it offers family recreation by hosting "Gay Pride," days--or whatever they call them. The Conglomerate is controlled by very neurotic sociopaths today. Under the circumstances, how can anyone trust their work product?

Wow, ABC NEWS, I didn't realize that they were still on the air. I haven't watched that network in so long.

Thank the Lord for the FOX Network.

Oh, the US is just a meteorite magnet, and we have probably drawn a 12-mile wide asteroid into a collision course with earth. Or maybe we are causing the earth's crust to buckle, and an enormous magma flow will erupt in the western Pacific, causing a huge two-mile-high tsunami wave to race around the world. Or maybe all the excess heat energy of the US which is being generated at this moment suddenly converges on the polar ice caps and causes a massive meltdown of the glaciers and floes. And it is all the fault of America, for thinking bad thoughts.

Horse pockey.

""These villagers in Ghana risk being poisoned every time they go to the river. They have no access to clean water, like one in every five people on Earth. It's the kind of problem that this summit is supposed to deal with."

Ah, can't they did a well? I mean, if your village can't get together to dig a well, I'm supposed to do it? I don't think so. Frankly, IMHO, close the book on Africa. Experiment failed, move on, lesson learned. I know the libs will be all over me. But they can go, be hero's for all I care. I'll even say they were right if they succeed. But arn't they Darwinists? Don't they drive around with little fish with feat that say darwin on their Volvos? Don't they say the world is overpopulated? Got to start somewhere, why not Africa? I, more than, don't care.

". . . the Bush administration is threatening the world by refusing to go along with the pseudo-scientific demand that the U.S. throttle its economy to appease environmental activists who claim human activity is causing a climate catastrophe, and U.S. disagreement is blocking the rest of the world from taking any action."

Warm up the crematoriums. Time for the tolerance and compassion crowd to reduce the population in the name of environmental activism.

There's only one response fitting such a groundless, inflammatory statement such as "U.S. Leading Earth to Catastrophe":

"We're number one! We're number one!"

Probably not the guilt-ridden, shamed reaction they were hoping for.

If all of us filthy capitalists here in the US would just stop driving cars, quit eating meat, turn off the air conditioners, and stop spending money on anything but clothes and vegatables, the water in Ghana would clear up in no time.

"The global economy has grown significantly in the ten years since the last Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro, but aid to the poor is down, from $35 per person in Africa to $19."

Perhaps that's because people are wising up and recognizing that Africa is the worst investment on Earth. These people have got to stop begging and start building. The alternative is for aid to drop from $19 to $9 in the next ten years.

Isn't Mbeke the leader in South Africa who refuses to educate his population about the connection between AIDS and random, unprotected sex. Instead he allows the idiots in his country to believe that raping infant girls will cure the afflicted of AIDS. A real moral paragon.

Hmmm--let's see--they "do" have FIRE, don't they, and POTS as well. Perhaps someone should tell them that "boiling water kills germs". But then, that idea probably won't make any headway with folks who still believe in witch doctors, and that raping a virgin will cure AIDS.
