why is it important for you and others to cast him as "McLawyer.
Well, as far as I know, no one here is working for his campaign - and trying to increase his name recognition on FR. Thus: McLaywer. (no offense to the many fine lawyers out there)
BTW, I have never made mention of other things you say. Just McLaywer. I did once post a link to an interesting article about him -- not very flattering I might add, about how he took away workers' health insurance and other benefits and fired people, AND gave $50K raises to his law partners. The article, from American Lawyer, is posted on Gov Bush's web site if you want to read it.

Remember there are many conservative lawyers fighting the good fight against the loyal opposition.
BTW, Gov. Bush's son, George P, is currently attending law school - and will soon become a lawyer. (As for the political make up of McLawyer's law firm - they have donated to both Dem and GOP causes. And, since I am an independent, this hardly bothers me. There have been good Dem candidates.)

Finally, here's the article about McLawyer -
Since he has touted himself as an astute businessman, and it turns out he actually screwed his peon employees -- while giving raises to the partners already making over $200K per year, and American Lawyer saw fit to write about this, I think this article is quite relevant to this campaign season.

"I'm not Jeb" isn't a winner except for the hardcore Democrats.
It's especially a bummer for undecided voters who actually hoped to hear something new and exciting in this election. Thanks for your post, Pogy. :)

summer,
When it comes to this stuff, you kick some serious arse. I have copied both "What the Press Said About the Democrat Sedate....Err, 'Debate'" and "Democrats 0 for 10 in Tonight's Debate" and emailed them to the head Republican honchos in my area.
Powerful, powerful stuff!
To: Joe Brower
Well, thanks, Joe! You know, it's funny because I don't actually say to myself when I write this stuff: "OK, time to kick butt." But, I guess when you just write straight from the gut, it sort of turns that way somehow!!! LOL... :)

BTW, those two piece you mentioned - I did NOT write! LOL! Those are from the campaign. I thought you were referring to those two pieces I wrote about Regier - the CAPTION JACKSON piece and the WEEKLY WORLD one. Maybe you should send those; otherwise the GOP will think I'm trying to lift their stuff! LOL!!!!! :)

Don't sweat it, good lady. The one from Jeb's site I sent along with the URL, so chances are they may have seen it already.
The second one I sent along without attribution. Like Ronald Reagan said, "You can get a lot done when no one cares who gets the credit". Speaking for myself, I expect to die forgotten, whatever good I was able to accomplish while I walked this Earth lost in time like tears in the rain.
To: Joe Brower
"tears in the rain" - Joe, very poetic stuff! :)

Here was a perfect chance for McBride to demonize Reno { a simple task}, yet failed to attack her on Waco, and more importantly Elian. This is proof that McBride is a lightweight, and proof that Jeb! has little to worry about.

"Pauline Blocher, a retiree from West Palm Beach, said she would continue to support Bush despite being a registered Democrat. Great quote from AP. Hard core leftists will not admit that both GW and Jeb are supported by many, many Democrats in Florida.
I followed the Bush-bash last night...and the WBBH-Reno fan club....so many long faces attempting to find a ray of hope amidst that bunch. The Democrats seem on a one-way trip into the sewer, all negativity and hate...when Americans need mature leadership and real can-do spirit from their fellow Americans.
Pessimism never won any battles.--Dwight Eisenhower
