I sent a letter to the writer:

Are you people out there idiots?

As many as 70 percent of those cases involved large vehicles, and in half of all cases, the drivers are parents or relatives of the victims, according to Fennell.

So? Why not ban all vehicles, solve the problem right away. No more giant UPS trucks or big ice cream trucks in the hood to hurt anybody. When we will stop blaming inanimate objects for our problems and start looking at the idiots behind those objects.

Murder is already illegal, if people use guns, cars, knives, etc to do it should we keep taking away things they can use until we are all left with nothing??? I am not saying we go the other way and give everyone nuclear weapons and tanks for home defense but at what point DO people draw the line? It keeps moving and moving. Kids die in bathtubs, people are hurt all the time with kitchen knives, and I would venture a guess that pornography has led to more crimes and killings then SUV's or guns ever will. And BEER or alcohol in general, we better ban that too - no more drinking or smoking in bars. A caged bird is safe, but not free (Walter Williams I believe).

I thank god I moved from that hell hole of a state years ago.

I think we should think about banning commercial jet liners first thing as they have been forced off path by idiots in the past.

" I thank god I moved from that hell hole of a state years ago."

That statement speaks to your level of intelligence far beyond any MENSA exam ever could. What I do not understand are the alleged "conservatives" who keep living out there under the fantasy of a rebirth of Reaganism.
