The other side is becoming more and more open about their hate for anything good. They used to mask it in other arguments, now they just let their hate spew out, knowing they have a growing audience for this kind of thing.

Interesting article. Thanks.
I went to Promise Keepers in St. Louis last weekend. It was my 8th PK event. Awesome worship and challenging speakers as usual.
I was thinking as I went in to the stadium that I had not heard the usual drivel protests from NOW et al. this year. As I left on Saturday however there they were, all 6 of them marching in a circle with ridiculous signs.
22,000 worshipping men in the stadium, 6 angry women outside. Where do you think the KMOX cameras were? You guessed it, outside. 6 protesters is news?
Really, it's quite irrelevant if they protest or not. I got blessed inside.

Jane is a magazine for terminally hip (in their own minds) age 20's woman. The vast majority will grow out of it in 10 years once they realize what stooges they've been to the mass media marketing hype and literally selling "hipness" like so much lip gloss. Hipness, like almost every other affectatio is available for a price. If you like trying to hold on to a handful of sand you'll enjoy that for a while, then you'll get bored.
BTW there are men's magazines exactly corrollary to Jane. Marketing disaffection as a commodity is not limited to women.
Affectation is not actual uniqueness or creativity or critical thinking. Magazines such as Jane et al don't go to great lengths to convince us that it is because that is not what they are selling.
The faux disgust or indignation these magazines promote really has nothing to do with disklike of religion or any ideological bent whatsoever. Ideological analysis is completely outside of their scope. The pretense, however, is not.

'Jane' should keep with it hollow life philosophy and forget everybody else. Talk about the meddlesome ole biddies of yesteryear.
