I prefer simple solutions to complicated problems, whenever dealing with such simple minded people as these.
Let this be our new GreenFreep slogan:
FEED THE HOMELESS TO THE HUNGRY!
The problems are stark. Some 1.1 billion people lack safe drinking water; 2.2 billion are without adequate sanitation; 2.5 billion lack access to modern energy services; 11 million children under the age of five die each year in developing countries from preventable diseases; and despite an abundance of food, 800 million people are still malnourished. Given those mournful numbers why are the trying to cut the use of technology to better the average living conditions developing countries?
OBTW: How many of the above mentioned people live under Islam (the religion of Peace and well being)?
