Yet more evidence confirming what principled conservatives have known for a long time--Sununu is no conservative--as evidenced by his cumulative 40% Conservative Index rating by the New American magazine and his B- grade from Gunowners of America. In contrast, Senator Smith has racked up a record as the most conservative member of the US Senate during the past 12 years. Smith has championed the conservative cause almost alone on many occaisions including the pro-life cause, Second Amendment rights, missile defense, nuclear arms control and so many more issues including counterterrorism and border security.
On these same issues, Sununu has either provided no leadership or actually opposed the conservative position such as in the case of his votes to reward illegal immigrants and terrorist murderers alike with amnesty. Another example is his indefensible vote to provide classified information to suspected terrorists putting the sources and methods of US intelligence at risk of being compromised and/or killed. Sununu, who is of Palestinian/Lebonese descent, has also accepted money from pro-Islamicist terrorist groups in the US for supporting their policies. Sununu supports independence from Israel and statehood for the PLO terrorist-led West Bank and Gaza Strip, a policy which if implemented, would merely add to the ranks of terrorist states and Axis of Evil. In short, Sununu is as close as they come in the Republican Party to recently defeated Rep. Cynthia McKinney. He is patently unqualified to be a United States Senator.

Has Sununu ever supported "amnesty" for any native-born American taxpayer stuck with an IRS lien - or even any native-born American taxpayer innocently caught up in one of the IRS's infamous snafus?
Sununu deserves to lose. GOP elites need to be sent a message that the grassroots social conservatives that put them in will no longer support a GOP that doesn't support us.

I disagree with Sunnunu on this issue, but still support him on turncoat Smith who has turned liberal on several other issues and who cannot win the general election.

In just love these "Sununu is a RINO" and "No, Smith is a RINO". Regardless, anyone who stomps all over Shaheen is my favorite.

Mr. Sununu, what laws can I break that you'll amnesty me for?
After 9/11, the LAST thing we should be doing is rewarding illegal aliens. Bob Smith is a Reagan conservative with a track record to prove it. 'Nuf said.

Smith is the logical one to vote for. It is a shame he shot himself in the foot last election cycle.

Rep. John E. Sununu, the New Hampshire Republican hoping to replace Sen. Bob Smith, wants to reward some illegal aliens by granting them amnesty. Yet another reason with a Long list of great reasons to Vote for Bob Smith!
Thanks for the great post! :)

Bump for Smith!
The truth about Sununu is finally rearing its ugly head. First its his pro-palestine votes. Then the radical islamic campaign cash from the SAME PEOPLE who we criticized Cynthia McKinney over. Now it turns out he's pro illegal immigrant amnesty.
I'm sorry, but every piece of news I hear on this guy pushes me further into the Smith column. Any "conservative" who could vote for Sununu in light of these facts is either willfully blinding himself to reality or is not the conservative he purports himself to be. It's that simple.

Not too familiar with sununu but he's killing Smith who looks like a sweating, overweight has-been. Respect some of Smith's conservative positions in past but he looks pathetic in this debate. He also needs to go on a diet, bad.
