"I wonder how much objection would be raised here to your 'article' if Gore was in the White House...."
Depends upon how many intelligent people were still posting here.

I am reminded of the old urban legend (with a lot of truth in it) of the fisherman coming back in set his autopilot/loran set for the first sea buoy out from the pass and sat back to enjoy some cold ones. Was rudely interrupted later as his boat "nailed" the sea bouy while still on autopilot.

I wonder how much objection would be raised here to your 'article' if Gore was in the White House....It would be as thoroughly ridiculed as it is now.

I wonder how much objection would be raised here to your 'article' if Gore was in the White House....The same folks who don't understand how aircraft really work would post this crap. The same folks who know how things work would rip the article to shreds.

I'll be specific: The reference to "electro-magnetic pulse" is PURE tinfoil hattism and puts this whole thing even outside the Art Bell orbit. Who are these frothing loonies who "deliberated for 72 hours straight?" I'd be hallucinating by then too.

LOL - are you still standing by the "Vreeland Story" that I tore to shreds, or is this "episode" of yours totally unrelated?

Wait! Wasn't there some guy caught/found in one of those hotels with a GPS receiver in the hotel safe?

Wait! Wasn't there some guy caught/found in one of those hotels with a GPS receiver in the hotel safe?Nope. It was an aviation radio--and it turned out that the security guard who said it came from an Ay-rab's room was LYING, and got caught doing so.

Where did it come from and what was it doing there? It came from the room of an American pilot, and the guard was apparently trying to look like a big hero and planted the radio in the Arab's safe. Seems he'd been booted off of the Newark Police before becoming a hotel rent-a-cop.

This conclusion has been seconded by a UK columnist for the UK Daily Mail, John Carlin. That being the case, put him in the bunk next to the Chief and Jack Nicholson.

A Portugal-based investigative journalist has presented THE NEWS with version of the September 11th attacks that has to date failed to attract the attention of the international press. Wake up international press. This is SERIOUS.

He cited the recently published official government archives describing President Roosevelts duplicity in deceiving Americans about the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbour, which triggered the US entry into WWll. He also highlighted the role of the countrys government in misleading its citizens in respect of the Bay of Pigs invasion in Cuba, and the events that brought about the Spanish American war in the late 19th, century.
Yah, and how about Aaron Burr?

It would be as thoroughly ridiculed as it is now.Is this:
I wonder how much objection would be raised here to your 'article' if Gore was in the White House....
not the silliest, dumbest argument being put forth on FR now, regardless of the thread/subject?
As soon as you read it, you know all you need to know: that the one using that argument thinks HE/SHE/IT knows much more than anybody else and -- and this is the best part -- is POSITIVE that the ONLY reason we don't agree with them is because we like Bush!
