You have to wonder at how many countless thousands of these cases have gone on in the past. The British stopped the "suttee", the burning alive of widows in India.

It has to number in the millions, perhaps in the tens of millions over the centuries. The article says it happens to thousands of women every year in Pakistan alone and you just know this sort of thing is widespread throughout the entire islamic world. I know Dubya and many other Republicans do not feel this way, but I want to utterly destroy the evil that is islam so bad I can taste it.

Think watch the roots of the flowers grow... AFTER one has been sent to that long dirt nap over a month's period... I would love to deal with these inhuman scum... This is a horrifying thing to see and read about!

This particular forum isn't for the "smarta$$"...Since when? It seems to be a requirement for membership here.

Being a Smarta$$ is acceptable behavior at times, but in the case of a mutilated female, those of us who "get hit with it" after reading something that atrocious usually overreact...I apologize for whatever it was I said. Just remember "PMS" can attack at anytime!

Sorry, for some reason I thought you were English.
"us liberals are always wrong."
Are you a liberal, or is that just sarcasm?

Saw your profile. I enjoy my Freedom. Freedom is a gift folks give one another. It's a condition where folks live and let live, where each individual is allowed to follow their own dreams under their own free will. Folks that band together to limit it hit me like the iqbal devil in the story. They are the ones that compete to force their own vision of how the world should be on all the others.
Freedom isn't allowed in that vision. The word itself is redefined by those folks to mean, the ability to pick your rulers. Well if you have to be ruled, you're not Free. The only Free countries are the ones that have a government that limits itself to protecting individual rights. Otherwise, Freedom is always diminished when governments take on other enterprise.
21 years ago I put my hand on my wifes belly and knew my kid was in there. I didn't know if it was a boy, or a girl, but I damn well knew it wasn't a nonviable tissue mass. It was a person, just like Parveen in the story here. Parveen's older, but age doesn't matter, nor does it matter what side of the door they're on, or whether they're conscious, or not-they're still a person. The right to life means folks shouldn't be allowed to take the life of another for any reason they concoct, except for self defense. Except to save the life of the mother, any reason to off an unborn baby is as goofy as iqbal's. What would be your reaction if folks sugggested euthanizing Parveen, because she wouldn't live a normal life. Parveen wouldn't like that idea, nor would the baby that hasn't woke up yet. Well I blasted you on guns, so I figured you needed to hear about the right to life too. Have a good day!

I'm confused. Is it my opinions that make you sick or merely the facts I stated?LOL.....no, not your opinions. The story of what that animal did to the young mother and wife. THAT is what nauseated me. I, too, would shed no tears if "he" is dispatched while in prison.
