Whenever I read stuff like this, I cannot help but think of that old George Carlin routine, the one about, "Why is it that women involved in the feminist movement are women you wouldn't want to **** anyway?"

The gals with the long, flowing, arm-pit hair are after Augusta National:)
It only took me a few minutes to find out that they have the same views as Augusta has regarding their own organization. Which is fine with me. If women or anyone else wants their own club that's A-OK. But, the BIG difference here is that this "woman's group" is very much funded by my tax dollars. Since they take donations from 503 nonpofits. And Augusta National makes their money the old fashioned way.
There are over 700,000+ nonprofit corporations in America. Many are either in business to push their own political agenda and/or enrich their handlers. The ONLY reason these women are after Augusta is to make noise and increase their donations. It's about money. Which they can't make on their own. They are grifters and panhandlers. Beggars. Unlike Augusta National. Which actually has a product that people want to buy.
It makes me sick when some group that has never created anything, built anything and always has had a tin cup out for dollars does something like this. The nonpofit laws were designed for CHARITY! To help needy people. Not to make people like Eleanor Smeal rich and famous.

Well, that's pretty tasteless and as the token girl here I'll so note. BUT it does remind me of a very amusing story which you may enjoy. I had the distinct pleasure of going to law school with Eleanor Smeal's daughter. Well, not that there's anything wrong with it, but Eleanor Smeal is not exactly a looker. You should see her daughter!! She was this total dish who wore tight dresses and high heels and flirted with all the guys. And her daughter was a total conservative, always dusting it up in class with the liberal guys. Wow! We all laughed and said to ourselves: I guess everyone has their own way of rebelling against their parents.

funny you should mention that !
Burk predicted The Masters would ''either fade as a major tournament, or they're going to have to admit a women member.''
the above reminded me of the old SNL Weekend Update:
Jane, you ignorant ____
