Why are there no white suspects on the loose?

There is a paper here in NC, a local paper we lovingly refer to as "The Grit," which publishes ALL crimes in the county on a weekly basis. Straight from the files at the jail.

Behind each and every single name, after the address and age, is the word "black" or "white." Works for me.
