A particularly despicable statement, and one that should get more publicity. I don't believe he needs to be offering Turkey advice, either.

Clinton's meaning was that the unique democratic republican form of government in the U.S. will end, be replaced by an anti-capitalist, anti-individual autonomous socialist state like the European Union. Those are the "shared values" he was referring to.
Clinton did, during his administration, and is doing now, everything he and Hillary could to subvert the capitalist U.S. to a socialist state. Their goal, along with the EU's goal, is a one-world, totalitarian state.
He is inviting Turkey to join this process.

What I take issue with is his attempts to expedite the process!
