Perhaps the only thing steamier and smoggier than the heated rhetoric coming out of the U.N. World Summit on Sustainable Development in Johannesburg is the current state of the global-warming debate. On one side are those who believe that human activity is causing the planet to heat up, leading to flooded cities, drought-stricken fields and plagues of new diseases.
