I don't see arming pilots as a big issue.

I'm not opposed to it... but I don't think it will make one dime of difference either way, with respects to fighting terrorism.

America will surely become victimized by terrorism again. However, if you think they are going to repeat the airplane trick, you're about as dense as a neutron star.

There must be 1000 ways to create terror, the hijacking method was merely one of them. If we spend too much time trying to protect ourself by that one, we'll ignore the other 999.

I don't think "they" (the terrorist leadership) are necessarily going to organize the hijacking of another plane, but as "they" (the sleeper cells and rudderless followers) become increasing cut off from leadership as we cut off the heads of the hydra, then I think "they" will try various things that have had success in the past.

Remember the kid in Florida who flew a private plane into the Bank of America building? Someone with a tad more ambition could hijack a commercial airliner.

JohnHuang2, there was a report today that the administration was going to allow limited carry by pilots as a test program? Fox said something but I've not heard more. Have you?
