Terry Macaulife the DNC chair said on Face The Nation on Sunday that democrats would revisit the Bush tax cut if they retake controll of the house and senate.
This excerpt shows their(the democrats) intention:
ROBERTS: So why is -- and I asked you this before, why no hue and cry to roll back the current tax cut?
MCAULIFFE: I think the main political reason is the president of the United States said, "Over my dead body." He made that statement when this was discussed months ago. So why do the Democrats want to get into the debate when the president said he would veto it over his dead body?
As soon as the elections are over, Democrats, Republicans, let's all come together, sit down at the table, not this photo-op thing they had down in Waco, Texas.
ROBERTS: But let's not do it before the election, right?
(LAUGHTER)
MCAULIFFE: I don't think we'll be able to do it with the political environment the way it is, John, I don't think we can do that.
End of excerpt.
So line up and vote democrat and lose your tax cut.

This guy is great!
This is a Godsend to us!
Tax relief is in place. It's a pittance compared to the real dollars that Reagan helped bring about. Now this clown wants to take back what thin gruel has been "given" to us?
If Republicans don't hammer this home in the Senate and House races we deserve to lose, and big time!
Be Seeing You,
Chris

Raising taxes is the RATs number one priority. They can't rant on about the deficits AND create fat new juicy socialist spending programs without $$$$$$.
This is THE issue for them although they don't admit it.

Why should McCaulife's remarks have much effect on the election. People will simply look at plunging stock markets, low interest rates, and rising unemployment, then vote for a change. Without an upturn in the economy in October, it should be a good year for Democrats, maybe as good as 1994 was for Republicans. It really is the economy.

1. McAwful forgets that President Bush has a lot of unused veto pens.
2. The Republicans - in the House - should introduce and pass more tax cuts before the election in November. Let's see if the DemocRATs have the guts to oppose them.
