Helen has more of a touch of Clintonitis. She adored Clinton, and therefore felt Gore should be crowned King after him, and Bush upset her apple cart! I heard a radio interview with her at the RATs convention. She was definately a knee padder candidate for Bill, it was embarrassing how she gushed over him, and talked about how handsome is he! YUCK!

Speaking of Helen Thomas, I read something that I find very funny on a satire web site a while back. I don't remember which one.

It was a listing of supposed nicknames that Dubya had given to various people. Some of them were kind of funny and some of them were, frankly, disrespectful, but I laugh out loud every time I think of the one for Helen Thomas --
Yes ma'am Arafat.

Of course, Dubya is too polite to ever actually call her that.
