Patriot's Day

although it has a nice ring, it hardly brings to mind
three thousand Americans slaughtered by Islamic psychopaths .

i suppose it's the way of any holiday that's established as a solemn tribute,
but folks, fifty years from now, when we're all ashes,
Patriot's Day will likely be just another three day weekend ...
