I have visited the mass graveyard at St. Petersburg. Unbelievable. There are vast tracts of land each marked by one single simple stone: "1942."

A place of great sadness. It must not happen in America, through the sweet-sounding, evil words of American Chamberlains.

You are right, so many people died each mass grave is simply marked by a number 165... 166... etc... and the year they were interred.

The reality is that it CAN and WILL happen in America if we do not decisively deal with this threat. It is just a matter of time and when it happens 9/11 is going to look like a party or nothing in comparison to the loss of life and devastation.

The Russian bard, Vysotskiy, wrote a song about mass graves:

Ó áðàòñêèõ ìîãèë íåò çàïëàêàííûõ âäîâ -
          Ñþäà õîäÿò ëþäè ïîêðåï÷å.
Íà áðàòñêèõ ìîãèëàõ íå ñòàâÿò êðåñòîâ,
          Íî ðàçâå îò ýòîãî ëåã÷å?

At the mass graves there are no crying widows -
          Stronger people come here.
They don't put crosses on mass graves,
But really, is it any easier?
