Many of the technologies used by primitive peoples are far more environmentally damaging, per capita, than more modern ones. To be sure, the environmental impact of two dozen aborigines using pit latrines is probably smaller than that of two million New Yorkers using flush toilets, but the environmental impact of two million people in a compact area using pit latrines would be disastrous.

all of the intelligent, well-informed people in this country (there are several of us, i think), are pissed off. speak your mind, sir. others will not revile you any less, or any more, because you have the courage to speak your mind.

The Second Amendment... America's Original Homeland Security !!

This Rocks! Best bumper sticker ever! Says it all and pokes a finger in the eye of both of those on the Left or Right who've traded their freedom for security.

Way to go Blackie!

Thanks Johnboy...

Well the good news, Judge Ransom didn't buy the further delay of the new trial date (the fourth one in 3 1/2 years) when he denied defense counsel's request to be excused from the case. A packed courtroom was pleased as was the Bean family.

In a city where police chief Arturo Venegas was convicted by a federal mixed race jury for discriminating against "Middle Aged White Boys" he forced out, (Deputy Chief Fred Arthur and Captain Mike Shaw) fires one it's most decorated senior officers (Lt. Pat Dowden) and uses Internal Affairs for his personal witch hunts, the Police Officer's Bill of Rights doesn't mean much. The First Amendment means less. To be branded a vigilante by this convicted racist is my personal "Red Badge of Courage".

The chief desires to be the top cop at L.A.P.D. As much as I would like to see him gone from Sacramento, ethics dictate an honest communication to the brass in L.A.: "If you want to finish the work started by Chiefs Willie Williams and Bernard Parks, i.e. the complete decimation of the nation's once finest police department, hire our chief. He will save your city millions of dollars by stripping sworn personnel to the bone and reclassifying veteran heroes as "obstructionists".

Too bad you waited until George W. Bush became President. Bill Clinton, at taxpayer expense, bribed Chief Venegas and his Mayor pal, the late Joe Serna, to the tune of $60 million in Clinton COPS grants. We now have fewer officers on the street than we did in 1992 and I assure you, Arturo can do the same for you. The Bush Administration won't fund fewer cops however."

I also included a wave file from the chief... what he had to say when officers began to voice concerns about morale and officer's safety in the department. Hear: http://crimewatch.us/venarmy.wav

Liberals have been destroying American law enforcement and one need only look at the electoral map to see why. The Blue Gore country isn't for the men and women in blue, it's for the corrupt and politically correct big city police chiefs and mayors. The PEOPLE rest! (But we're not asleep)

I'm mean "undocumented criminals.. err, ummm... crap! When will I ever learn (slap slap) The objection is to the word "Homeland"... guess living here no longer qualifies one to call America "home"...

Has it really been three and one-half years? This must be the tactic of the lawyers to keep post-poneing this trial so the sheeple will forget about this horable night in which this honorable cop was murdered. I live in Elk Grove and remenber the news about Officer Beans murder, but have sence forgot, thanking that the perp had already been sentenced to death. This is a travisty of Justice...

The Greenies are such wonderful people. They'd let millions of Africans starve before they'd let them "poison" themselves with genetically-modified food! With "friends" like these...

>> "It has been days since she had a nourishing meal to feed her eight children." <<

Have these people no concept of abstinence? I detest these women and men who are so irresponible and negligent that they would bring new children into a world with no food or water, and then expect someone else to do something about it. I have sympathy for the babies, not the parents.

I detest the environmentalists even more. I wonder who funds these people and their summits?

About 17,000 tons of corn donated by the U.S. Agency for International Development is sitting in storage in Zambia. Greenpeace and Friends of Earth have been lobbying the governments in Zambia, Zimbabwe and Mozambique not to accept the corn.
Smoke the dope but watch out for the corn!

So this is interesting. Your hyperlink appears to be to a porn site, though I did not enter. Why?

"They are not interested in famine or poverty," he said. "This lot (totalitarian environmentalists) is concerned only about their own interests." I'd say Barun Mitra has a pretty good handle on what these latter day fascists are all about.
