Cool. We CAN defeat the Gods of Political Correctness if we have a mind to. Now that the Administration has finally seen the light on armed pilots, let's keep at it and get them to drop this silly idea of needing to store guns in a lockbox and limiting arming pilots to an elite few.

If you believe that Bush has "seen the light", you are wrong. The ONLY reason that Bush is agreeing to this token measure now is that Dasshole has announced that the Senate will vote on Sen. Smith and Sen. Miller's bill to remove all control over arming the pilots from the White House. Bush hopes to appease some of the senators and defeat the bill and preserve his empire.

98% of the pilots will still be unarmed and 100% of the airports will still be "secured" by idiots.

President Bush is defeating the (P.C.) groups, by saying yes to the airline pilots, by giving them the green light to "pack" a gun. This send a message to the terrorist groups not to "mess" with the United States and it's freedom fighters.

The White House doesn't care for this idea, as they are promting an expensive, exhaustive, unfundable program to train the pilots. This way, they can say that they support arming pilots, while later claiming that it couldn't be done due to funding problems. Opinions haven't really changed. Bush is one of the politically correct ones.
