This site has some interesting stuff and lots of links to more stuff. Some of it might be a bit tin foilish but I found the IAO site particularly interesting.

Saw this a few weeks ago. Can't believe they quietly worked Poindexter back into "public service" without so much as a whimper out of our media.

I thought this was a gag! I can't believe that site is real, but there is "DARPA" in URL. That logo looks like something out of '50's movie.

I had pretty much sworn off the conspiracy stuff but so much of it so compelling...I mean, when Gorbachev and Strong go on record calling the Earth Gizmo a 'new ten commandments,' it's hard not to smell fish.
I hope it meets with the same inauspicious fate that the real Ten Commandments have (or 'had') in official US circles.

I'm sorry for hijacking your thread. It's just that one astounding thing led to another...I feel like all these totalitarian mushrooms have sprung up overnite...

tangentially related:
Many Providence residents have taken Cianci's misdeeds in stride, especially since they coincided with a rebirth of the city, with new parks, a thriving arts scene and a sprawling new downtown mall.

Hell, DARPA created the Internet (sorry, Al). We wouldn't be here if it weren't for them.
