This then, my lords and gentlemen, is the message which we send forth today to all states and nations, bound or free, to all the men in all the lands who care for freedom's cause. To our Allies and well-wishers in Europe, to our American friends and helpers drawing ever closer in their might across the ocean, this is the message-lift up your hearts, all will come right. Out of depths of sorrow and sacrifice will be born again the glory of mankind. - Winston Churchill, June 12, 1941

Regards, Ivan

Ivan, if you'll forgive me for editing Churchill's quote just a little and change the perspective to one from across the pond, I'd like it to read this way:

This then, my ladies and gentlemen, is the message which we send forth today to all states and nations, bound or free, to all the men in all the lands who care for freedom's cause. To our Allies and well-wishers in Israel, to our British friends and helpers drawing ever closer in their might across the ocean, this is the message-lift up your hearts, all will come right. Out of depths of sorrow and sacrifice will be born again the glory of mankind.

I would also like to be on your ping list; I very much appreciate your posts!

Amen!

Thank God No. 10 Downing Street is occupied by a man worthy of Churchill's legacy in these critical times. Whether or not his party likes it, PM Blair is one of the best conservatives out there today! ;o)
