Several things.
  1. This Roy Barnes who put the main progun leader in the GA house at the head of the Democrats hit list was the NRA's "buddy" in the last election
  2. Bobby is a true conservative, not a liberal compromiser like so many Republicans are these days (particularly on the national scene)
  3. Bobby doesn't just give them hell on the gun issue, but votes against just about every government power grab that Barnes, Murphy, and their liberal accomplices in the press and the Republican party try to inflict on the residents of Ga.
  4. By consistently voting against spending increases, Bobby has been injecting some spine into some of the Republican jellyfish in the Ga legislature. This is why the democrats and RINOS see him as the most dangerous legislator in the Ga general assembly, because he is leading by example in a movement to curb their power mad squandering spree. He has more and more of the legislators voting his way every year.

Nice post.

I need to look into exactly where the GA 45th Senate District is at. I keep hearing the ads on radio for the two Republican women in the run-off, and they seem to be running as fast as they can to the right. "Pro 2nd Amendment" in one, "100% NRA voting record" in the other, etc. Maybe I need to move!

A stunned Mr. Scheid told the newspapers: "Apparently this is some kind of sign the residents weren't happy with the job I was doing."

This is a classic! Congratulations to all Georgians who fought this battle on Bobby's behalf.

Odd. The newspapers didn't pass that along to me.
