Listening to the IMUS in the morning show, IMUS speaking with Congressman J C Watts and J D Hayworth made some comments referring to Sean Hannity as a retard, then functionally illiterate and then a moron.
I enjoy listening to his show, but he was way out of line with these comments. I expect he will end up having to apologize for those regrettable comments.
Anybody else hear this. Comments (besides IMUS is a
., who do you listen to him,

I doubt it. You were probably the only one listening.

I'd be interested in what his guests had to say in reply.

Imus specializes in ad hominems. If you want invective rather than reason, Imus is your guy.

Listening to the IMUS in the morning show, IMUS speaking with Congressman J C Watts and J D Hayworth made some comments referring to Sean Hannity as a retard, then functionally illiterate and then a moron. And a frequent visitor to Fire Island as well...

I heard Imus *diss* Sean Hannity, and, it was all in fun.
Sean would have loved it.

The comments were made is response to JD Haywoth mentioning Sean. IMUS (paraphrasing) said he was a right wing nut job, where he (IMUS) tends to balanced. Isnt that right Chuck?
JD chuckled and responded "Yeah just like MSNBC Americas News Channel".

Yeah-I heard it...I was switching around during the commercials and I like J.C., so I watched for awhile, as soon as I heard the moron comment I turned it off (Imus's drunken "vocal style" bugs me anyway)...he's probably just jealous (it was funny when J.D. Hayworth said something back like, Sean's book is selling well, but I saw yours for a dollar and a half on the sale pile)

Did you hear IMUS describing all the perks Jack Walsh got when he retired from GE? Wow it was unbelievable.
Apparently his wife disclosed all of these fringe benefits during their divorce case proceedings.
Looking for the newspaper article where they got this info.

I normally enjoy flipping between Imus on MSNBC, & Fox & Friends. This morning Fox has on all the congressional honchos, both sides of the aisle. Very impressive line up.

You were probably the only one listening Not true, a surprising number of political people listen to him. One is George Bush, the father not he son. Tim Russert listens from his washington office. There are a lot more but I can't remember them right now.
Let me repeat I thought his comments about Sean were uncalled for.
