Oh boy! A Pro-Pot editorial masquerading as a news story. This ought to be a big hit with the Free Republic Pot rally crowd.

Legalize pot??? This guy has to be freaking kidding! That would destroy the price. It would put so many producers, importers and dealers out of business. What a freaking stupid idea!!

Yep. And it gives you Drug Warriors another chance to parade around in your pink tu-tu's.

A Pro-Pot editorial masquerading as a news story Explain how it's "masquerading" as a news story. I think it's pretty obvious that it's an editorial. Of course, grasping the obvious appears to be a little bit of a problem for WOD'ers.

Nah, the politicians will just get their kick-backs from legit businesses instead of organized crime.

It'd make things tough on the cops as well. They'd have to arrest all those violent criminals instead of the slower moving dopers.
Arresting someone in "full relaxation mode" doesn't even reqiure them to put their donut down.

Incrementalism on the legal front.

It will probably lower their stress level though. Can you imagine what it's like, day after day, to be outwitted by stoned teenagers?

I prefer the term...delegalizing it Pot already is de-legalized. What exactly are you driving at? That you approve of the current status quo (the WOD)?

AZ and NV will put this to a vote next month, making 3 ounces in AZ and 2 ounces in NV legal to possess.

Incrementalism on the legal front. It's an incremental step to SOME of its supporters. What of it?

Well, I'd call that a "personal attack!"

It got you to show up, didn't it? I win the five bucks. :-)

And also tax the h*ll out of it. Say about $2 a toke. On top of the retail price. That'll work. Get the government out of the business of prohibiting it and into the business of selling it.
When people keep growing it on their own property, what then? Knock down their doors to collect the tax instead of to prevent them from growing it?
Why not just leave people the hell alone?

It seems that alloysteel is a troll.

To: Destructor
Comparatively mild to some of the initial flame-bait I've seen you throw out there.
Sorry if you took offense to me assuming your tu-tu was pink.

There will never be a shortage of people who feel they have a right your money.
