It seems that alloysteel is a troll. No problem, it gives people a chance to comment on absurd ideas like the one he proposed. Which, unfortunately, are popular with a lot of people. Even those on this forum.

I thought the mauve was the JBT in-color this season.

Come on now. We all know that basic black is the JBT's favorite color. Especially for all those early morning ballet dances they do.

There will never be a shortage of people who feel they have a right your money.Even among so called conservatives on this forum.
I had a mini flame war with so called conservative (an oldtimer here) the other day as he defended the welfare state while claiming to oppose it. It never ceases to amaze me.

I do believe they refer to that as a "logical disconnect". It happens in all different kinds of fundamentalism.

"Sorry if you took offense to me assuming your tu-tu was pink."
Oh, now that is definately a personal attack! I guess you potheads want to name the tune, but not pay the fiddler, huh?
To: MEGoody
So sorry. But, Yes it most certainly is.
Shall we just go back and forth now like a couple of school kids?
To: Destructor
If I really wanted to get personal, I would take it off-forum. Unlike you WODDIES who just jump right in.
To: Dead Corpse
We can if you like, but I still say it's not time. It's never time to legalize something that is harmful that is already illegal.

Well, at least you have more guts than most of your kind. Not many will dare go one-on-one with Destructor!

So to take the alcohol prohibition back was a mistake? I hope I'll be seeing you on the next anti-alcohol meeting then.

It's an incremental step to SOME of its supporters. What of it?I prefer to think of it as decrementing the New Deal.
To: Destructor
It's not that they don't dare. It's that they don't care.
Your empire could be lost by mistaking one letter for another.
Most of us also realize that all you are here for is your "one-on-one". You are little more than a disruptor, and deserve to be treated as such.
To: MEGoody
It's never time to legalize something that is harmful that is already illegal. Well, it kinda comes down to what is more harmful. Having a few dopers around (which we already do), or the wholesale slaughter of the Constitution?
The cure is much worse than the "disease".

Wow, I never thought of that! You're absolutely right! They're all too busy layin' around getting stoned to care about much of anything.
