If they just outlawed crime they'd have the problem solved. That is if laws were observed by criminals which, by definition, they aren't, but ya can't blame a well-intentioned liberal for trying after all 'cuz we can't just let people arm themselves for protection. Can we?

That assumes that the faithless House of "Windsor" has some interest in preserving the lives, property, and culture of its subjects. But the only motive I see in that most repulsive of families is self-preservation.
Since the beginning of this century, they have shown NO solidarity with either their own blood relatives (refusing to grant asylum to the Tsar and his family and allowing the Lloyd George government to vilify and encompass the abdication of the Kaiser) or their class (allowing Parliament to install inheritance taxes that have reduced the aristocracy to tenants on their own estates), or -- worst of all -- with their own subjects.
Regal authority comes from God, NOT for the pleasure of the monarch, but for the good of the subjects. The Windsors have de facto abdicated, selling their subjects into slavery under a socialist dictatorship. All the while, Her Majesty and her repulsive brood have been assured that their own income and prerogatives remain intact.
It is people like the "Windsors" who give monarchy a bad name.
I say send them packing and bring back the Stuarts.

Stuarts other than Charles II were pretty mediocre. I never heard about the Tsar I can understand the Kaiser there was a lot of bad blood there. Now if only Queen Elizabeth had any children the Tudors would be nice.
