"If I were Rupert Murdoch, I think Id fire some of the people at HarperCollins for turning down the No. 1 best-selling book of the summer for purely ideological reasons." Really?
What do you think publishing is anyway? A for-profit business?
Never mind...
May they find other employment soon...

"While skewering the liberal buffoons is fun it does make us too much like them."
I don't believe it for a second. You don't win by debating liberals like you're at the yacht club. They aren't interested in arguments; they aren't interested in logic. They aren't interested in having a nice conversation over tea.
If you want to win, give it to them loud and dirty. That is the first rule of political warfare.

I go back and forth on Coulter.
You can't call her writing "scholarly".
On the other hand, you can't disagree with it, either.
This article suggenst that she is probably the right wing equivalent of a Carville or an Ivins. (Not that there's anything wrong with that.)

Perhaps she is as much a creation of the leftist liberals as an answer to them. The libs did everything in their power to piss off the right in this country.
Now that they have done it, their creation has bitten them fiercely and they don't quite know what to do with it. Things are going to get a lot nastier I'm afraid.

Ann gets my vote for fill-in host when Rush is on vacation!
(I think she would be great!)
To: Las Vegas Dave
I love Ann's writing, and even more, the reaction.
Time to buy the book!
To: Reactionary
You get in a shouting match with a screaming baboon and you are going to look like a screaming baboon. I know because I've seen it happen to the great David Horowitz among many.

Here's mine; sent on Sept. 3.
I am sorry that you are so humor-challenged but Ann doesn't have a hateful bone in her body. She's just bold enough to stand up to the liberal media and talented enough to do it with a healthy dose of laughter. Clearly you don't understand that. Too bad.
The saddest thing about your "I hate Ann" column is your apparent belief that you know "what serves the public good" and what "ideas will provide subjects fit for public consumption and debate." That's flat scary, and precisely what's wrong with the media today. It is that sort of power-drunk perspective that paved the way for the huge successes of Bernard Goldberg's, Bias; Ann Coulter's, Slander: Liberal Lies About the American Right; and William McGowan's, Coloring the News. Your liberal abuse of power is backfiring.
Keep it up. You're ruining your credibility with every "I know what's best for you" comment.

Nice article -- appalled by Coulter's success, the leftists are working diligently to prove her point.
(Alinsky) The thirteenth rule: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.
Unger is lying about the emails, of course. But hey, what's a little misrepresentation weighed against the success of the Revolution?
To: Interesting Times
Ann cannot be frozen, and she polarizes herself with her provocative remarks, thus removing the left's power over her.
"Ridicule is man's most potent weapon," writes leftist agitator Saul Alinsky in Rules for Radicals "
it infuriates the opposition, who then react to your advantage." She uses Alinsky's tactics against them brilliantly.

"According to E&P, "of the more than 500 e-mails that poured in, about 485 supported the paper's decision."
According to Saib Erekat over 500 Arabs were massacred in Jenin.
Same song different Truth hating Liberal.

The left is a danger to America and all of them need to be stopped!

I had this wacky brainstorm the other day about Carville and Matalin... maybe.. just maybe... Carville is *really* a conservative undercover,
deliberately trying to make the liberals look bad. How else do you explain him living in the same house as Mary Matalin?
Could happen....
