September 7, 2002 -- WASHINGTON - The White House yesterday said new satellite photos of Iraqi nuclear activity are "deeply troubling" and add to what is already a "Mount Everest" of evidence that Saddam wants nukes.

People can make estimates until they are blue in the face. But we need to bear in mind that Saddam is motivated right now like never before. A president from Texas, seeking justice for the deaths of thousands, is stalking along the property, eager to attack. Saddam, I am certain, is way ahead of schedule by now.
