It does seem a bit strange, doesn't it? I don't know the outcome. I can go to the local Harbor Freight Tools store and buy decent-quality tools for dirt-cheap, if I want. Proudly made in China. Drill press for 40 bucks. If it was US-made, probably three times that price. So I don't know how this is going to turn out. We're either going to, by this process, infiltrate their system with freedom, a tide they will not be able to turn back, or we're selling them the rope to hang us with. I don't know.
So borrow a copy from your library. If they don't have it, get them to get it through Interlibrary Loan.

Patience...we'll be bombarded with touchy-feely, candle light vigils, "Why do they hate us?" and other whiny things on next Wednesday. But trust me, if we get hit again, or several more times, the sleeping giant will awaken. There will be all kinds of mindless liberals who will be instant converts. As I heard one pundit say, "On 9/11, the alarm clock went off, but after a few weeks, most of us hit the Snooze button." You can't expect them to see history now, but they will.
